This controlled transition helps reduce mechanical stress on couplings and gearboxes while keeping startup behavior more predictable. It is suited to applications where frequent starts or loaded restarts would otherwise place unnecessary strain on the driven machine.

This model switches three-line mains to the motor through an integrated internal bypass contactor that closes after the start sequence, which reduces heat loss in the power section during steady operation. Its control electronics operate from a 24 V AC/DC auxiliary supply, allowing the starter to accept logic-level commands even when the main power bus is de-energized. The power terminals support a continuous motor current of 129 A across the rated duty range, so the unit fits medium-power motor installations. The enclosure is rated IP20, which helps prevent accidental contact with live parts, but the starter still needs installation inside a cabinet or switchboard.
