The 132H2250 soft starter is produced by Danfoss within the MCD Soft Starters series and is grouped under the VLT Soft Starter MCD product line. It is applied in motor control panels to moderate the voltage delivered to induction motors during startup and shutdown. By limiting initial current and torque, the unit protects mechanical couplings and reduces electrical stress, making it suitable for conveyors, pumps, and general automation tasks that need controlled acceleration in a compact footprint. This controlled ramp can also help reduce belt slip, hydraulic shock, and sudden mechanical loading during routine starts.
