The 131X7578 is a decentralized AC drive produced by Danfoss in the FCD 300 Micro Drives series. Mounted directly on machinery rather than in a cabinet, it converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into variable-frequency output for precise motor speed control in conveyors, mixers, and pumping stations. By integrating power electronics, protective functions, and fieldbus communication within one sealed housing, the unit simplifies wiring in distributed industrial automation layouts. Its machine-mounted design also reduces the need to route long motor cables from a centralized control cabinet.
The housing carries an IP66 rating, preventing dust ingress and protecting the enclosure against powerful water jets in outdoor or washdown locations. The drive accepts a three-phase, 380–480 V supply, matching common low-voltage plant feeders without requiring step-down transformers. Its continuous rated output is 0.75 kW, providing power to the connected motor while the drive remains within its thermal limits.
