The AK-SC255(TP78) comes from Danfoss and is part of the Electronic Climate Controllers series. This model steps in with a power supply range of 100–240 V AC, meaning it covers most standard voltages in industrial and commercial buildings. Width, height, and depth clock in at 266×317×63 mm so space can be managed on a control wall or inside tight enclosures. A key detail is the supported frequency of 50/60 Hz, which lines up with global power systems. The controller runs just fine as long as the room falls within 0 to +40°C for standard setups, so most modern sites are covered on temperature as well.

Looking at durability, the power side is fitted with a 1 A protection fuse, always ready for unexpected surges or faults in the network. This keeps equipment safer and downtime shorter. Long-term use in high-humidity rooms is not a problem—up to 90% RH non-condensing is supported. One special feature on this unit is the detachable battery; a CR2032, 3 V cell helps keep time and smaller memory items when the main power is off. If a wired network must be used, there’s a spot for an RJ45 Ethernet port, and relay output at 30 V DC, 1 A extends connectability for alarms or other functions needing triggering by the climate controller.

On the signal side, network protocol compatibility goes well beyond basic serial, as this unit takes TP78, RS485, FTT10, Modbus, and LonWorks on board. Setup is kept easy with a rotary switch for addressing—choices from Master to Slave right on the face.
