The Danfoss Climate Controller 084B7086 can be mounted on DIN rails to ensure safe mounting within standardized industrial electrical enclosures and panels. Its IP20 (circa NEMA 1) enclosure rating protects against solid foreign objects and accidental touch, while permitting safe use in indoor controlled environments.
The 084B7086 controller is 0.66 lbs (300 g) in weight, thus light enough to be installed with ease and moved around. This controller accommodates a wide ambient transport temperature range from –40 °C to +70 °C (–40 °F to +158 °F) to provide stability during storage and shipment. In operation, this controller supports 24 V AC ±15% with a frequency of 50–60 Hz. This controller has an analog output current signal of 0–20 mA, accessible via terminal 2, for use with general monitoring and control systems. This controller also accommodates an analog output current signal of 4–20 mA, accessible via terminal 5, for use with devices that need current-loop communication. In this controller, two relays with dedicated SPST outputs are available to directly control external devices connected or to interface with broader automation systems.
The front panel of this controller consists of a 3-digit LED display that provides clear and accurate readings for values. The four status LEDs are also integrated, giving instant feedback regarding operation states, fault warnings, and active system tasks. With a power consumption of only 5 VA, the 084B7086 controller gives efficient performance with minimal use of energy. This controller features selectable measurement in °C/bar or °F/psig, so direct international system usage is achievable without the need for conversion.
