The Danfoss made 084B7079 Climate Controller draws supply from 24 VAC, making it compatible with conventional low-voltage systems. This controller has a gross weight of 0.351 kg, making it light and easy to handle during installation or replacement within installed control systems.
The mounting of the 084B7079 controller is facilitated by DIN rail capability, offering easy installation, mechanical strength, and simplicity of integration into typical control cabinets. This controller has three SPST relay outputs with each rated 4 A ohmic loads (AC-1) to provide reliable operation. Each relay output accommodates 3 A inductive loads (AC-15) to make this controller useful in switching inductive loads while ensuring safe circuit operation. A SPST alarm relay is also included in this controller for providing fail-safe signaling functions to initiate alerts. Featuring two Pt1000 ohm sensor inputs, this controller gives accurate temperature measurement, enabling exact monitoring and quick system response for maintaining environmental stability. Its operating temperature range is between -10 °C to +55 °C for reliable performance in most industrial conditions. In this controller, there is a built-in 3-digit LED display to show data output of important readings and make monitoring accessible.

The 084B7079 controller accepts input frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz to accommodate varying electrical grid practices around the world. Its power consumption for a connected KVS-step motor is 1.3 VA, promoting low-power actuation of the valves and maintaining fault-free performance. This controller’s terminal structure supports multicore conductors to 2.5 mm² to ensure safe electrical connections and stable performance in mixed wiring configurations.
