The 084B7076 is an electronic controller from Danfoss that is supplied under the product code EKC 366. It functions as an interface module for thermal actuators and regulates actuator heating through pulsating 24 V AC output. The controller weighs 300 g and its display is a three-digit LED panel.
The 084B7076 controller operates on a 24 V AC ±15% supply and it supports both 50/ 60 Hz frequencies. Its total apparent power consumption is 80 VA and its own normal power requirement is 5 VA. The unit’s valve load requires 75 VA during operation that can vary according to the conditions. It supports multiple input signals, including 0 - 20 mA/4 - 20 mA current signals, as well as 0 - 10 V DC and 2 - 10 V DC voltage signals. The 084B controller’s input resistance is designed for direct PLC output and its control signals determine actuator temperature offset along with regulation range.
