Product Description:
Danfoss 088L0990 is a high-performance heating cable that is used to control the temperature within all types of industries reliably.
It works on a supply voltage of 230 V, viewing a cable output of 10 W/m at 10 °C, yielding an overall output of 40 W at 10 °C. This also makes it suitable for medium to large-scale heating processes, keeping the energy consumption level and securing performance. The cold lead length of 2.00 meters, and the cable length is 4.00 meters, meaning that this heating cable is very flexible to be installed in different environments. The cable is 7.7 mm wide and 5.3 mm high, and therefore it is small, thus applicable in narrow spaces. The minimum diameter of its bending is 50 mm, which makes the cable go through the installation process safely without breaking its integrity. The 088L0990 is programmed to work in conditions up to 65°C, and the non-operational temperature is 65°C; thus, the equipment can reliably work in both active and non-active conditions.
The cable has the capability of operation in extremely low temperatures down to -5 °C, which opens it to a broad spectrum of surroundings. The heating wire has an IPX7 protection level. The conductor material and the insulation material used are tinned copper to make a great conductor material and cross-linked polyolefin to make the insulation material better heat-resistant.
