Product Description:
Danfoss 088L0989 is a good-quality, self-limiting heating cable suitable for the effective management of temperature in several industrial and corporate solutions.
This heating cable can also be used to provide reliable performance across a broadly varying set of heating needs at a supply voltage of 230 V. The cable produces 10 W/m at 10 °C, delivering 20 W of overall power, warranting good heating over the given length. The cable has a length of 2.00 meters, which offers a wide area to connect with many installations, as well as a width of 7.70 mm and a height of 5.3 mm, making it highly compact and easily incorporated in industrial systems. It is small but can perform considerable amounts of heating. It is constructed to have the least bending diameter of 50 mm, so it can easily be installed in narrow areas without requiring the cable.
The cable can operate at up to 65°C and also handle non-operating temperatures up to 65°C, making it versatile in all possible environmental conditions. The cable can be used in colder climates because it can withstand temperatures as low as -5 °C. The element has an IPX7 protection rating, which gives it full protection against immersion in water up to 30 minutes and is therefore suitable in wet environments. The self-limiting heating principle of this twin-core heating cable assists in controlling the output depending on temperature changes to increase energy efficiency and eliminate overheating. The cable uses alufoil covering 100% of the shield, and the remaining conductors of the cable consist of tinned copper that is highly conductive and durable.
