Product Description:
The model 084B8007 is a pack controller designed for regulating compressor and condenser capacities in small scale refrigeration systems. It allows for the connection of multiple compressors and condensers.
The 084B8007 Pack Controller from Danfoss features eight outputs with expandability possible through an external relay module. It offers key advantages such as patented neutral zone regulation, various compressor constellation configurations and support for both sequential and cyclic operations. The unit also enables suction pressure optimization via data communication. This controller uses signals from pressure transmitters and temperature sensors for regulation. It supports two pressure transmitters for compressor and condenser regulation plus one temperature sensor to measure air temperature before the condenser. These pressure transmitters can be replaced with temperature sensors for brine systems. It accommodates pressure regulation types including P0 (pack), Pc (pack/chiller) and pressure regulation with variable reference (Sc3). It also supports temperature regulation Sx (chiller). The input signals include two pressure transmitters (AKS 32R) and three temperature sensors (PT 1000 ohm/0°C or PTC 1000 ohm/25°C).
The 084B8007 pack controller features eight digital inputs for safety circuit monitoring, three inputs for alarm function and two inputs for alarm or reference displacement. The relay outputs for capacity regulation include 8 SPST relays rated at 2 A (inductive). It includes one SPST relay for AKD start/stop and one SPDT alarm relay rated 3 A (inductive). The voltage output range is 0 – 10 V DC, max 5 mA with internal resistance of 2.2 kohm. The supported display modules include EKA 163 for PC display and EKA 165 (164) for operation, P0 display and LED interface. The data communication of this model is possible via an external communication module.
