The AME series actuator 082G0619 from Danfoss is designed for precise valve control in heating and steam applications. It requires 230 VAC supply with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz to operate and consumes 15 VA of power during operation. This actuator delivers a maximum output force of 1200 N for reliable valve actuation and provides a linear stroke of 30 mm.
The 082G0619 actuator features a movement speed of 15 sec/mm of stroke and it supports analog control signals for flexible integration. It accepts 0 - 10 V DC input and it can also operate with 0 - 20/4 - 20 mA DC signals. The unit’s input type is selectable through its terminal configuration and it can also be controlled with 230 VAC three-point signals. It provides up to 20 mA feedback output for position monitoring and possess two SPDT end switches that are included for open and closed confirmation, each end of the switch has a maximum rating of 250 VAC at 1 A. This 082G0 actuator comes with a built-in manual override for direct operation and it has a scale indicator that allows monitoring of the stem travel. Its body is constructed from reinforced polyamide and ABS materials, with a brass and steel union nut that secures connection to the valve.
The 082G0619 actuator includes a spring return mechanism for fail-safe action and the return spring drives the valve stem closed during power loss. It offers overload protection that switches off under stall conditions and it automatically adjusts the stroke to match the connected valve. The unit’s LED indicators provide operational and diagnostic status information. It carries an IP54 protection class according to IEC 60529 and it is compatible with Danfoss valves including VFG 2, VFG 21, VFG 25, VFGS 2, VFU 2 and AFQM types.
