Product Description:
The Danfoss 084B8010 is a precise controller made for commercial refrigeration units like display cases and cold storage systems. It clips on easily to keep temperatures just right, automatically controlling the compressor and defrost cycles. Powered by standard 230V AC, it fits smoothly into most existing refrigeration setups. It’s especially ideal for applications such as supermarket display chillers, walk-in coolers and freezers, providing the control needed to maintain the right temperature while ensuring efficient use of energy.
This controller can work with two types of temperature sensors, Pt 1000 and PTC 1, giving you flexible options for installation. These sensors help it keep track of temperatures accurately in different refrigeration environments. It also has a versatile digital input that can connect to door switches, pressure sensors, or other control devices. This allows users to customize the system’s capabilities to match their specific application needs for optimal efficiency. The controller can also be set up to respond to door openings, maintenance modes or emergencies, enhancing its usability in improving safety and system operation across a wide range of refrigeration setups. This modular design makes it easy to adapt the module to suit various settings with diverse operational demands.
The 084B8010 comes with dedicated relay outputs for the compressor and defrost functions, each with simple NO contact configurations. These relays handle 6A for resistive loads and 3A for inductive loads, ensuring reliable control of your cooling systems. The compressor relay manages cooling cycles precisely, helping reduce energy use, while the defrost relay handles ice removal without risking spoilage of your stored products. Having two separate relays means safer operation over time, with less maintenance needed. This helps to keep your refrigeration running smoothly and consistently.
