Product Description:
The 195N3100 harmonic filter is part of the AHF Advanced Harmonic Filters group from Danfoss and starts off with a tight, compact feel thanks to its 200 x 75 x 168 mm size. Maximum load for current runs at 4.0 A and the biggest voltage allowed comes in at 480 V AC. Here, filtering works at the right frequency point since the maximum output frequency reaches 120 Hz, covering a decent range for typical drive or motor setups. The enclosure holding the whole filter rests at IP20, so it stays mostly protected in regular dry environments but stays vented for cooling.
Mounting goes in only one direction, with the vertical only option built in, and that setup keeps the airflow running with no struggle. For connection flexibility, a max cable length of 25 m @ 380–480 V can be reached when screened wiring is used, making the unit ready for lineups that stretch a bit further across the shop floor. The weight stays right at 2.4 kg, so the filter doesn't overload its mounting panel or throw off a drive cabinet’s balance. Inside sits a PTC integral thermistor for thermal response, which helps with immediate temperature monitoring and extra circuit protection just in case things get too hot.
Clearances are part of the deal on this filter, asking for 100 mm above and below the chassis for steady cooling. Each unit can be fit side-by-side without any trouble since there’s no minimum space needed, which is useful when packing several in a tight row. Max voltage from line-to-earth is 300 V AC and screening control helps shield the system from outside noise. Sticking to its main job, the 195N3100 works for knocking out risky harmonics, which often show up in automated cells with variable speed drives or smaller industrial machines.
