Product Description
The Danaher PRO-8 Thermal Controller is an accurate device that is designed to control temperatures in industrial processes. It has a 4-samples-per-second input sampling rate, which makes it possible to measure accurate readings within a short period. The controller offers options to calibrate the thermocouple and Pt100 with an accuracy of ~ 0.1%. It also records a setpoint input accuracy of not more than 0.25% for the remote, a feature that makes it ideal for use in temperature control applications. The input impedance of more than 10 M? makes it possible to use the system with different types of inputs.
This controller supports various types of output for different industrial applications, such as SPDT relay output, SSR driver output, and Triac output. The relay output is capable of handling the resistive load of 2A with an AC voltage of 120 / 240V and is guaranteed to last for 500,000 cycles. The output signal options of the DC range include 0- 20mA to 4- 20mA, which makes it quite versatile. As for communication, the PRO-8 supports RS485 serial communication with Modbus or West ASCII protocols for integration with industrial automation systems.
Built for extreme conditions, they have CE, UL, CUL, and CSA certifications and conform to EN61326-1 EMI specs. When properly installed, it can offer an Ingress Protection (IP) 66/NEMA 4X panel sealing to protect against dust and water. The operating temperature range of 0C to 55C and storage range of -20C to 80C make it suitable for usage in different environments. Available in various front bezel sizes and with a weight of 0.21 kg, it is perfect for industrial temperature control, precisely, as well as being extremely sturdy and compact.
