The SS451TG4 is a geared synchronous motor produced by Danaher within the Slo-Syn Synchronous Motors series. This integrated motor and gearhead assembly supplies low-speed, step-accurate rotation for indexers, conveyors, and timing devices used in industrial automation. Its line-frequency synchronization and high holding torque support applications that require repeatable movement without an electronic drive.
The stator operates from a single-phase supply of 120 VAC. With the matched 14 µF capacitor, the motor draws a steady 0.80 A, allowing appropriate selection of circuit protection and wiring. Operation is synchronized to the mains at 60 Hz, eliminating the need for electronic speed control while producing a stall torque of 450 oz-in at the motor shaft. After the internal reduction train, the gearbox output rotates at 18 rpm, which is suitable for slow and repeatable material positioning.
