The Danaher SS451-1026 is a NEMA 34 AC synchronous motor, which is a part of the Slo-Syn Synchronous Motors series. It can be powered by either 120 volts or 240 volts alternating current, which makes it versatile and can be used with different power supply sources. Suitable for use in industrial and automation industries, this motor has a synchronous speed of 72 RPM at 60 Hz and 60 RPM at 50 Hz to deliver reliable and consistent performance in many areas of industry.
The torque of the motor is 450 oz-in (318 N-cm), which makes it appropriate to withstand average to large loads as far as the turning force is concerned. It has a rated current of about 5.5 A and has a phase-shifting capacitor of 0.80 uF for the improved efficiency and effectiveness of the motor. The motor is available in two formats, one is a leaded (L) motor and the other is a terminal box (T) motor, due to its installation and wiring type.
