Product Description:

This SS241CT is a new addition in Danaher's famous Slo-Syn Synchronous Motors product series as an accessory that is used for accurate electrical damping. It has a 250 VAC load rating which is the commonly used control supply. Also, it offers a capacitance of 0.1 µF that is adequate for absorbing sufficient energy so that the voltage spikes can be suppressed. This motor has to be ±20% tolerance and guarantees consistent performance.

The device uses metallized polyester dielectric material in order to deliver stable capacitance over time. It spaces leads at 20 mm which fits standard PCB layouts without modification. This synchronous drive can work in a temperature from –40 °C to +85 °C and smoothly covers severe climatic conditions. With a UL94V-0 flame retardant grade, it has the ability to prevent combustion under fault conditions. The model presents a dissipation factor ≤ 0.1 % at 1 kHz, maintaining low dielectric losses in high-frequency circuits. It also offers insulation resistance ≥ 30 000 MΩ thereby blocking leakage currents for reliable isolation. It mounts via a through-hole procedure that secures installation on control boards without special fixtures.

This Slo-Syn motor SS241CT delivers self-inductance ≤20 nH which minimizes series resonance effects in fast switching environments. It possesses IP65 degree of protection to seal against dust ingress and low-pressure water. Having a weight of just 0.3 kg adds minimal mass to motor assemblies. Other features include the compliance with IEC 60947-5-1 standards which verifies global safety and performance criteria. It sustains up to 240 oz-in torque output for enhancing load-handling capacity. It runs at 60 RPM at 50 Hz which aligns with common line frequencies for smooth motion control. The module retains full electrical life through 500000 operations and ensures long-term circuit protection.
