The Danaher Q7002-14 is part of the Quadraline Regenerative Drives series and uses a chassis mounting style with a speed range of 50 to 1. It supports a single phase AC line frequency of 50 or 60 Hz, operates with external signal control, and offers a duty rating of continuous operation. The drive features bipolar isolated input, AC/Pulse Tach feedback, and has a maximum load capacity of 150 percent for one minute.

Product Description:
The Q7002-14 regenerative drive is manufactured by Danaher as part of the Quadraline Regenerative Drives series. This chassis-mounted unit converts kinetic energy back to the AC mains and therefore suits installations where motors frequently decelerate or reverse, such as indexing tables or web rewind sections. In an automation cell, the drive accepts external speed or torque commands and regulates motor current so that braking energy is returned to the utility grid instead of being dissipated as heat.
The power section accepts a single-phase supply with an input frequency of 50/60 Hz ±2 Hz. Command information is provided through a bipolar isolated interface, and the control loop follows an external signal, allowing the drive to integrate with analog PLC outputs or process controllers. Armature current is reported as a feedback voltage of ±1.3 VDC, simplifying diagnostics without requiring a physical ammeter in the current path. Internally, the electronics accommodate reference signals up to 3600 Hz; this wide bandwidth helps the regulator track high-speed tachometer signals and maintain stability when the load changes suddenly. The unit is rated for continuous duty, so regenerative operation has no built-in time limit during normal production cycles.
The drive withstands an overload of 150% for 1 minute, giving machinery time to clear jams before a protective shutdown occurs. Tachometer inputs are accepted up to 100 V, and full output is maintained down to 1200 Hz, which is important when the motor slows but must still deliver consistent torque. A speed range of 50:1 is achievable when an AC or pulse tachometer is connected, and the default pulse reference is 60 pulses per revolution. The drive can operate at altitudes up to 3,300 feet (1,000 meters). Its chassis-mounted design supports panel installation while keeping cable runs short between the drive and the single-phase mains connection.
