Dynapar Encoders under Danaher manufactures the X251250101, a high-resolution optical encoder designed to function stably in harsh industrial environments.
To satisfy the demands of demanding applications, the encoder provides accurate position measurements ranging from 8192 to 10,000 pulses per revolution. Complete, accurate measurement control is provided by this device using two-channel quadrature (AB) signal outputs together with optional Index (Z) and other signals. When the shaft rotates counterclockwise, the encoder phase sequence makes sure that Signal A advances ahead of Signal B, meeting the requirements of standard industrial equipment. The encoder's IP66 seal rating, which supports washdown requirements as evidenced by its NEMA4/IP66 housing standard, allows it to withstand dust and water. Push-pull configurations at 10-30 VDC up to 60 mA or line drivers at 5 VDC ±10% with current levels at 40 mA are required for the two electrical input types that the device takes. With output rates of at least 200 kHz for push-pull channels and 300 kHz for line driver channels, the device can manage high-speed operations.
With limitations of 35 pounds radial and 24 pounds axial use, the device can tolerate high mechanical forces and takes a 3/8-inch power input shaft. Through its shaft, this product reaches its maximum spinning speed of 10,000 RPM. Even though it weighs only 1.5 pounds, it is durable and portable at temperatures ranging from 0degrees C to +70degrees C for operation and from -25degrees C to +90degrees C for storage. The device makes system connectivity easier by supporting either parallel 6-pin/10-pin connectors or M12 industrial ports. With servo and flange installation and flexible tether systems for reliable overall performance, the X251250101 is ideally suited to several particular industrial fields.
