The RI58-O/5000ES.41RD is an encoder built by Danaher automation for industrial production and processing designs. This encoder is manufactured as part of the Danaher Dynapar encoder series; it features a stainless steel enclosure with high mechanical strength and resistance against chemical substances. The pulse width of this encoder is about 5000 pulses; it also has a housing diameter of about 58 millimeters. During operation, a direct current voltage supply of between 10 to about 30 volts should be maintained to this product unit; input current should also be about 0.1 amperes. Each unit of the RI58-O/5000ES.41RD has been tested and certified to be CE-certified and UL-listed. It is also able to withstand ambient temperatures as high as 40 degrees Celsius.
The RI58-O/5000ES.41RD features a small output shaft that is able to support high loads while maintaining high efficiency when it comes to torque supply. Flange types suited for this encoder design include the synchro flange, clamping flange, square flange, and synchro clamping flange. The enclosure of this product unit provides protection according to IP67; this high degree of protection makes it possible for the encoder to easily withstand interference from water splashes, dust, or any other foreign solids. However, this product should still be used indoors.
The RI58-O/5000ES.41RD encoder can support a temperature range as high as 10,000 revolutions per minute, during operation its starting torque is low as 0.5 newtons per centimeter. The moment of inertia supported by this product unit is also about 14 grams per centimeter square. The RI58-O/5000ES.41RD encoder is able to withstand vibrations as high as 100 meters per seconds square over a frequency range of 10 to about 2000 hertz. Also, the shock resistance for this product is 1000 meters per second for a duration of 6 milliseconds.
