Product Description
The HS35R0240H34E is an incremental hollow-shaft encoder manufactured by Danaher for industrial automation. The encoder delivers 240 pulses during every rotation. This enables accurate motion feedback in control systems. Stable signal transmission is enabled through the differential line driver output design of the encoder.
This HS35R0240H34E encoder allows input power between 5V and 26V DC. The normal operating current usage of this device amounts to 100 mA. The encoder incorporates dual A/B channels along with the available Z channel for indexing. Signal rise and fall times are maintained below one microsecond for responsive output. The output frequency operates at 200 kHz at maximum speed. This encoder enables shaft speeds reaching 6,000 RPM. This makes it appropriate for fast-moving equipment. The encoder incorporates a 0.625-inch hollow shaft and enables safe attachment through an anti-rotation tether. The HS35R0240H34E encoder features aluminum construction, which enhances durability and minimizes its weight. The 10-pin MS connector located on the side exit makes it simpler to handle cables effectively. This unit can function across all operating environments from -40°C to +100°C. It is engineered to resist up to 10 g of vibration testing along with 100 g of shock testing that lasts for 11 milliseconds. The rated IP65 protection standards of the enclosure safeguard it from both dust and low-pressure water ingress. Direct motor mounting is possible without additional components due to the hollow-shaft design.
The HS35R0240H34E encoder meets all EMC performance requirements. It complies with IEC 61000-6-2 and 61000-6-4 requirements. Phase separation is set to 90 electrical degrees ±15°. It also has an index pulse width of 90 electrical degrees. Its fast signal transitions and noise immunity support effective feedback in electrically noisy environments. Position detection accuracy in industrial motion systems becomes possible because of these encoder characteristics.
