Product Description
Danaher makes the HS351024G3331 Hollow-shaft absolute encoder for precision motion control. With a resolution of 13 bits, the encoder may provide absolute position data, allowing for 8192 counts each revolution. The encoder can handle data output in a natural binary format and allows counting in both directions at the same time. The encoder accepts input voltages between 5 and 28 VDC.
The HS351024G3331 absolute encoder encloses 1.024-inch components with a felt seal. A tether arm provides support for the installation, making it easy to position accurately. Because it is compatible with a wide range of input stages, the output type is open collector. The frequency response capabilities of the encoder are compatible with the encoder's 6000 mechanical RPM limit. The bearing housing and cover are made of die-cast aluminum with a protective coating. The moment of inertia (0.019 oz-in-sec²) contributes to stable rotational performance. Its input voltage range of 5-28 VDC makes it simple to integrate into a wide range of control systems. Because of its open collector output, the encoder can connect with a wide range of circuits without requiring any level changes. Mounting with a tether arm allows for controlled movement and reduces shaft stress.
The HS351024G3331 absolute encoder bearing has a 50,000 operational hour rating at 2500 RPM (7.5 x 10⁹ rotations). A full revolution provides 8192 discrete locations, based on the encoder's 13-bit resolution. The output format is natural binary, making it easier to understand digital data. Consistent output is guaranteed even at high rotational speeds because of the device's maximum RPM support of 6000. This encoder is ideal for systems that require long-lasting performance and consistent motion feedback. The encoder meets the system requirements for constant position feedback with minimum latency.
