Product Description:
Introducing the XSL-230-36 XENUS Digital Loop Module by Copley Controls which is the most accurate unit in industrial automation. This compact module is easily integrated with other systems as it can meet many different operational needs. It has multiple control modes and command interfaces.
The XSL-230-36 XENUS Digital Loop Module is designed in a very elegant way as far as control modes are concerned. It includes Indexer, Point-to-Point, PVT, Camming, Gearing, Position, Velocity, and Torque. Such modes keep it adaptable for various requirements needed in various cases. The XSL-230-36 XENUS Digital Loop Module compatibility has a diverse range of systems. This includes CANopen, ASCII, discrete I/O, stepper and PWM command options, and ±10V commands. CANopen and RS232 are provided for effective data exchange while client-server methodology enhances compatibility. Feedback from the module includes Digital Quad A/B encoders, secondary encoders, Analog sin/cos encoders, resolvers, and Digital Halls. The input voltage of the amplifier ranges from 100 to 240 Vac. The amplifier has the ability to work both with single-phase and three-phase networks. The above results show that the device works perfectly within a frequency range of 47 to 63 Hz. There are 36 Adc (25.5 Arms, sinusoidal) peak current and 12 Adc (8.5 Arms, sinusoidal) of continuous current.
This XSL-230-36 XENUS Digital Loop Module has the current loop set at 15 kHz. It has the velocity and position loops at 3 kHz which offers fast response and precise control during its operations. The measurements of the module are serviceable at 7.5 x 5.5 x 2.5 inches while still keeping a modest weight of 3.0 lbs without a heatsink. The operating temperature of 0 to +45 °C and the storage temperature of from -40 to +85 °C. This makes its use possible in different conditions. It must be cooled by a heat sink or forced conventional air to remain fully effective and to have a long lifespan.
