Product Description:

The Copley Controls developed the XM2-230-20, a dual-axis MACRO for high-tech motion control in industrial environments. The MARCO is designed to meet a wide range of operating demands with its accurate performance and support for numerous control modes and communication interfaces. The XM2-230-20 dual-axis MACRO is suitable for demanding applications because of its many control modes that include Position, Velocity, and Torque. Two input channels are available, and it can receive position, velocity, and torque control inputs within ±10V. Both the peak and continuous current ratings of the drive are 20 A and 10 A, respectively. Compatibility with typical power systems is guaranteed by the supply voltage range of 100-240 VAC. The versatile XM2-230-20 can accept a wide range of control signals thanks to its twelve high-speed inputs and eight opto-isolated inputs.

Two motor brake outputs and five opto-isolated outputs are provided for improved control of the unit's outputs. An RS-232 interface, as well as an ASCII and discrete I/O command interface, are available for communication. For accurate gearing and camming, the MARCO has a master encoder and a point-to-point control mode. In addition, it has inputs for digital quadrature A/B encoders and, for very accurate motion feedback, an absolute feedback option. For enhanced application compatibility, the analog feedback is also SSI absolute feedback compatible, and it is compatible with the Panasonic Absolute A format. The XM2-230-20 dual-axis MACRO can process commands with a high level of precision thanks to its two 14-bit reference inputs. For dependable signal processing, the opto-isolated architecture provides immunity to noise. To further improve feedback control, the AC drive comes with an absolute A feedback option and a digital quadrature encoder interface. Wake Industrial offers global shipping options and a one-year replacement warranty.
