Product Description:

Introduced by Copley Controls, the XE2-230-20-H digital servo drive works with the manufacturerEs brush and brushless motors. The servo drive encompasses a two-axis EtherCAT interface. The product features a wide range of control modes such as indexer, PVT, camming, torque, velocity, and more. This device uses a heatsink to support its operation. The unit portrays a peak current rating of 20 ADC per axis. It has 22 digital inputs and 2 analog inputs. It is CE Certified, RoHS Compliant, and cUL Recognized. This amplifier has two RJ-45 sockets that support standard Ethernet cables.

The product also comprises a full-duplex three-wire DTE RS 232 port with a baud rate of 9600 Baud to 115,200 Baud. This device has a Safe Torque Off (STO) function according to IEC 61800-5-2 specifications. The unit executes digital position commands in either differential or single-ended format. Its opto-isolated inputs can be programmed and are set as two groups of four inputs with a common terminal. This servo drive has a resolution of 14 bits and a voltage rating of +/-10 VDC for its analog inputs. The product is powered by an external 24 VDC power supply. This device must be properly grounded before it is operated. The unit has an additional protective earthing conductor for the connection to the heatplate grounding screw. It incorporates an internal regen resistor that handles the regenerative energy more than the absorption capacity of its internal bus capacitance.

This servo drive must be installed in the upright orientation. The product supports encoder feedback. This device should be installed in a control cabinet with adequate clearance above and below it. The unit is automatically assigned consecutive addresses when it functions as a slave along with other slaves in an EtherCAT network. It comes with two status indicator LEDs. This digital servo drive has seven digital outputs.
