The Copley Controls XENUS Digital Loop Module 800-1525 is an effective industrial motion control system, offering efficient and robust performance in demanding industrial applications. The continuous output rating of this module is about 3kW. The system utilizes Hall sensors to monitor the 3-phase input for efficient and precise motor control. In addition, the brake output with a 24V/ 1A offers a safe way to stop the motor if necessary. The GUI-based configuration interface makes the XENUS module easy to configure and customize for engineers and technicians.
The XENUS modules feature advanced load regulation and temperature monitoring features. The system has a load regulation accuracy of ~ 0.1%, which ensures motor operation with constant speed even under fluctuating load conditions. Three integrated temperature sensors are included to prevent overheating and to operate the system within safe temperature ranges. The CANopen DS402 protocol is supported by XENUS modules for smooth and flexible communication and synchronization with other devices in the system. Additionally, these modules have a memory buffer of 128 KB, which enables them to work with complex motion profile data.
