The Copley Controls' 800-1336 XENUS Digital Loop Module is a high-performance solution for precision, reliability and flexibility in motion control applications. It supports several encoder types such as BiSS, SSI, and EnDat. The 800-1336 has a bandwidth of 2.5 kHz for fast, and accurate control in high-speed industrial applications. Various features like Safe Torque Off and Safe Stop 1 ensure the protection of the system and operators by a safe shutdown in case of any type of fault.

The 800-1336 XENUS module is designed to provide robust performance, the current loop is controlled efficiently by the PI loop through a Power Stage composed of MOSFET and IGBT. The servo loop rate of 50 kHz provides high precision and high responsiveness, which makes it very suitable for demanding motion control applications. It allows dynamic braking to be applied either internally or externally based on the requirements. Analog or digital inputs are available as command sources in a variety of system configurations. It can also support motion profiles such as S-curve and trapezoidal, which offer smooth and controlled motion in industrial applications.

The XENUS Digital Loop Module is designed for efficiency and ease of integration. With an efficiency rating exceeding 95%, it consumes relatively less energy and delivers high performance. There is also a module option for networks such as EtherCAT and Modbus for easy communication of the module with other devices in the system. Passive or fan cooling is utilized depending on users' requirements. DIN rail mounting simplifies the installation, and the module is compliant with the EMC standards IEC61800-3 to provide electromagnetic compatibility in industrial environments.
