The 800-558A Brushless Servo Amplifier is a device designed for applications requiring precise torque control in DC brushless motors. This 800-558A Brushless Servo Amplifier functions between a specified voltage from 24V to 225V and offers four-quadrant power delivery by allowing smooth bi-directional acceleration and deceleration. It is manufactured with six-step commutation for three-phase DC brushless motors which is compatible with both 60° and 120° Hall sensor configurations. This feature also helps in ensuring accurate and efficient motor control. The amplifier’s connectivity with the J2 connector handles the Hall sensor and feedback signals, while the J3 connector provides various signal inputs by including +5V as ground GND with other Hall signal inputs (HALL A, HALL B, HALL C). A RESET input is also available for additional control. This DC servo series amplifier features diagnostic LEDs that display system status and faults by enabling easy monitoring during operation. Potentiometers (POTS) are provided for precise adjustments of various gains and REFERENCE GAIN by allowing fine-tuning for useful motor performance. Also, directional enable inputs are available for working with limit switches by providing directional control.
