Product Description:

Supplied by Copley Controls, the 5221CE DC servo amplifier deploys surface mounting. This amplifier has a fail-safe enable input. This amplifier has an LED that lights up in green color when it is turned on and there is no fault. The product features a DC power output of 5 V at 250 mA. This device portrays a peak current limit of 100% when its RH15 resistor is in the open state. The unit drives a DC brushless motor in either velocity or torque mode. It incorporates an enhanced monitoring and diagnostics system. This amplifier can be seamlessly integrated into several control systems.

This product is known for its versatility and high performance. The device features two types of control signals. This device comprises two enable inputs that must be grounded for its operation. This unit uses a cable shielded with multiple conductors for its Hall wiring. It has a three-pin jumper with a shorting plug on its PC board behind the LEDs. This amplifier has a bipolar reference input. The product is meant to be set up and operating correctly in torque mode before establishing the settings for its switches and potentiometers. This device must not have a DC power output of 1.4 W from all its DC power inputs. The unit depicts a power rating of 54 W at the continuous current rating. Its Enable input active signal switch is OFF by default.

This amplifier has a small signal -3 dB bandwidth with 200 uH load at maximum supply voltage. The product has a long lifespan because of the high MTBF rate and brushless design. This device has three options for velocity-loop operation. The unit incorporates a Brake feature with current limiting functionality. It can be customized according to the requirement. This servo amplifier has an LED that lights up in red when a fault is encountered.
