The 4212D DC Servo Amplifier is a unit developed by Copley Controls. It is one of the contemporary controllers that improve the operation of high-precision and reliable applications. There is a differential reference input voltage which can change the voltage at the range of up to ~ 20V with an input impedance of 94K. It also helps in minimizing noise. The differential design makes it an appropriate tool for application in closed-loop systems that demand very high levels of precision and consistency in their operation.

The gain structure is designed in such a way that any other amplifier can be integrated into the system seamlessly. It includes an input differential amplifier with a gain of 1:1 and a PWM transconductance stage with maximum current at Ipeak/6V.
