Product Description:
The design of the 412 DC servo amplifier from Copley Controls includes mechanical brushes. With a quick setup process, the device has 3 speed diagnosis LEDs for different statuses at the time of installation. The unit is equipped with five potentiometers. It is protected against output-to-ground and output-to-output short circuits. This amplifier comprises an internal 40-pin header socket.
The product is used in magnetic bearings and automatically guided vehicles. When functioning in voltage-feedback mode, this DC amplifier attains a bandwidth of 200Hz at its peak. The unit comes preset with a 100% continuous current limit when the RH16 resistor is in open mode. Its header component controls the length of time for which it will output the peak current limit. It offers twice the peak time current of a unipolar current shift following a change in polarity. To minimize noise interference, it's recommended to use twisted shielded pair cable for the reference inputs and its tachometer. It is not equipped with any heatsink and is designed to work with a voltage rating between 24 and 90VDC.
This amplifier has switch-selectable active logic levels for its Enable inputs. The product operates with an unregulated power supply. For input, this amplifier uses a +/-10Vs control signal. The unit requires no soldering to change the parts of its header. The load inductance ranges from 0.2 mH to 40 mH. By default, the integrator ON/OFF switch in this amplifier is set to ON position. However, the LO/HI Enable switch is by default set to OFF. These default settings are intended to help the users with the setup process.
