Product Description:
The XMS2-W0210ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S05RSN1NNNN0NN is a single-axis power module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It operates from a 750 V DC bus and produces a regulated three-phase output for one motor. This conversion supports position, velocity, and torque control in automated cells while providing a compact power stage for installation in an electrical cabinet.
The module has a single-axis configuration, so its power electronics and feedback channels are dedicated to one mechanical axis, reducing channel-to-channel crosstalk. Network connectivity is provided by Multi-Ethernet hardware that supports several industrial Ethernet topologies. The default communication protocol is Sercos III, which provides deterministic transmission of motion commands and status data. The module does not include a control panel, so parameters are accessed through compatible engineering software. Its enclosure has an IP20 rating, which protects users from contact with hazardous internal parts when the module is properly installed inside a closed cabinet. The integrated Safe Torque Off circuit disables gate signals to the power transistors, preventing the connected motor from generating torque when the safety input is activated.
Thermal management relies on internal air cooling, which moves cabinet air across the heat sink without requiring external ducting. The second-generation design uses updated power semiconductors and control electronics to reduce switching losses at higher carrier frequencies. Its inverter operation converts DC-link energy into variable-frequency, variable-voltage output for compatible synchronous or asynchronous motors. The control section follows the ctrlX DRIVE platform, allowing the module to operate within the associated motion-control architecture. A motor connector set is not included, so an appropriate connector and cable assembly must be selected for the connected motor and cabinet arrangement. The compact housing also helps conserve panel space in systems that place several drive modules along a shared DC bus.
