Product Description:
The XMS2-W0150ANN-01AETT0ECNN-S05RSN4NNNN0NN is a single-axis inverter drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat, supplied within the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It belongs to the ctrlX DRIVE product group and is intended for motion applications where compact power electronics are mounted close to the machine axis. By converting shared DC-bus voltage into a regulated three-phase output, the drive can operate compatible servo or induction motors in automated cells. Its Multi-Ethernet interface permits direct connection to PROFINET IO networks for coordinated communication with the machine controller and other drive components.
The power section delivers a continuous output current of 100 A at a switching frequency of 4 kHz and can briefly supply up to 150 A during acceleration peaks. Its bus coupling is rated for 300 A, while the internal circuitry operates from a nominal DC-link voltage of 750 V. The inverter is disabled if the DC-link voltage exceeds 900 V, protecting the power electronics from excessive voltage. Internal fans circulate air through the unit, and calculated power dissipation reaches 910 W under full load. An input capacitance of 1.7 mF stabilizes the bus during brief voltage variations, while the maximum inrush current is limited to 4 A. The second-generation unit includes a multi-encoder interface for compatible motor feedback devices. It is supplied without a motor connector set, allowing the required cabling and connectors to be selected for the installation.
The control electronics use an external supply rated at 24 V ±20% and consume 166 W during operation. Functional safety is provided by Safe Torque Off, which disengages the power devices without mechanical relays. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, preventing contact with hazardous internal components while allowing the airflow needed for cooling. A fitted control panel provides local access for parameter entry and status review. The ctrlX DRIVE control section manages single-axis functions and exchanges commands, feedback data, and diagnostic information through the Multi-Ethernet connection. This arrangement supports centralized motion control while retaining local access to essential drive settings and operating information.
