The XMS2-W0100ANN-02NETM5ECNN-S06RSN2NNNN5NN is an inverter drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. Designed as a single-axis power section for the ctrlX DRIVE platform, it converts energy from a shared DC bus into controlled three-phase output for servo and induction motors. The unit supports motion in conveying, packaging, material-handling, and general automation systems. This second-generation design is supplied without a control panel to conserve cabinet space, while parameter settings are managed through the fieldbus connection or external service tools.
The power stage operates from a nominal 750 V DC supply and connects to the common bus through terminals rated for 120 A of continuous current. Communication passes through the built-in Multi-Ethernet port, and the selected EtherCAT (SoE) protocol carries motion commands and diagnostic data in submillisecond cycles. Internal air cooling moves 74 m³/h across the heat sink to remove heat from the power electronics. Power loss is limited to 587 W, which helps manage cabinet temperature during demanding operation. SafeMotion hardware in the ctrlX DRIVE plus control section monitors position and torque for supported safety functions. The multi-encoder interface accepts resolver and digital feedback signals without requiring separate feedback hardware.
