Product Description:
The XMS2-W0100ANN-01NETT0ECNN-S06RSN1NNNN0NN is a single-axis inverter module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. As part of the ctrlX DRIVE product group, it uses the platform’s second-generation design and serves as the power section for one motion axis. The module converts voltage from a common DC link into a regulated three-phase output for compatible servo or induction motors. This arrangement supports closed-loop speed and position control in industrial automation systems, including handling equipment, production machinery, and coordinated motion cells.
The power stage delivers a continuous output current of 67 A at a switching frequency of 4 kHz and can supply up to 100 A during load surges. Internal electronics operate from a control voltage of 24 VDC. The shared DC link has a nominal voltage of 750 V, and the module disconnects at 900 V to protect connected equipment from excessive voltage. Its DC-bus connection is rated for 120 A, while an input capacitance of 1.7 mF helps stabilize energy flow through the power stage. The module communicates through Multi-Ethernet and supports Sercos III for synchronized, real-time motion control. A multi-encoder interface accepts motor feedback, and commands are processed through the ctrlX DRIVE control section. The front surface does not have a control panel, and the operating mode is configured for inverter service.
An internal air pathway moves 74 m³/h across the heat sink to remove thermal energy from the module. This cooling system can dissipate up to 587 W during nominal operation, so the installation must provide adequate space for unobstructed airflow. The housing has an IP20 protection category at the stated DC-link voltage, providing protection against contact with hazardous internal components and ingress by larger solid objects. Certified Safe Torque Off functionality prevents torque-producing motor current when the safety function is activated. The module does not include a motor connector set, so the required motor connection components must be provided separately for the installation. Multi-Ethernet wiring enters through the top of the housing, which supports organized cable routing in vertically arranged drive assemblies. The airflow rating applies to the internal-air cooling method used with the second-generation mechanical design.
