The XMS2-W0100ANN-01NETT0ECNN-S05RSN2NNNN0NN is a drive inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It converts energy from a shared DC bus into regulated three-phase output that powers a single servo or induction motor in automated machinery. Mounted inside a control cabinet, the unit serves material-handling, packaging, and assembly stations where a compact footprint and integrated safety are required. Within a multi-axis rack, it functions as the dedicated power stage for one motor, while the paired control section handles parameter setup and system coordination.
Axis support is limited to a single-axis configuration, assigning the entire current capacity to one mechanical load. Network wiring connects through a Multi-Ethernet interface that supports several industrial communication networks. Motion telegrams are transferred through the selected EtherCAT (SoE) protocol, enabling communication with compatible motion control equipment. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling, which directs cabinet air across the heat sink without requiring external ducts or liquid cooling equipment. This drive inverter uses a second-generation platform and mates with a ctrlX DRIVE control section that supplies processing and communication services. Integrated Safe Torque Off disables gate signals to the insulated-gate bipolar transistors when the connected safety circuit is activated. This function prevents torque-producing current without requiring the main DC supply to be disconnected. The housing is supplied without a front control panel, allowing a remote human-machine interface to be used when required by the machine layout. A motor connector set is also not included, so the installation can use a harness suited to the selected motor and cabinet arrangement.
