The XMS2-W0090ANN-02AETM5ECEC-S05RSN2NNNN5NN is an inverter module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. Installed on a common DC bus rail, it energizes and regulates a single servomotor in advanced automation cells. By converting DC-link voltage into a high-frequency, three-phase output, the unit allows machine controllers to execute precise position, velocity, and torque profiles for pick-and-place stations, gantries, and continuous-process equipment.
The drive operates as a single-axis power section, dedicating its IGBT stack to one motor without sharing output power with another axis. Communication wiring passes through a Multi-Ethernet port, allowing the drive to support several fieldbus selections through its configurable communication system. Real-time setpoints and feedback are optimized for EtherCAT (SoE), which provides submillisecond telegram timing over standard shielded cabling.
