The XMS2-W0090ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S04RSN1NNNN0NN is a drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It is designed for motion-control tasks in automated equipment, where it serves as the power and communication interface between a controller and a motor. The module converts energy from the DC bus into regulated AC output for servo applications on the factory floor. Its output stage adjusts motor current in response to commands from the connected control system, supporting precise speed, torque, and position regulation.
The module has a single-axis configuration, so its power section operates one motor channel. Command data reaches the drive through a Multi-Ethernet interface, which supports integration with compatible industrial networks. Time-critical cyclic communication uses the Sercos III real-time protocol selected through the drive configuration. Processing and parameter storage are handled by the ctrlX DRIVE control section, providing the functions needed to regulate the connected motor and exchange operating data with the controller. As a member of the second generation, the module includes updated signal processing and higher-density packaging compared with earlier units. The enclosure provides IP20 protection and a DC bus rating of 750 V, offering protection against accidental finger contact while supporting connection to the specified intermediate circuit.
