The XMS2-W0054ANN-02NETM5NNNN-S03RSN2NNNP5NN is a single-axis inverter from Bosch Rexroth Indramat’s XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It converts a shared DC link into controlled three-phase output for servo or induction motors in automated production equipment. The unit is built for precise motor control within cabinet-based drive systems that use the ctrlX DRIVE platform.
Electrically, the drive uses the plus control section and permits switching at 4/8/12/16 kHz, giving designers a practical balance between acoustic noise and switching loss. It delivers 27 A of continuous output at 4 kHz and supports peaks up to 54 A when short bursts of higher demand occur. The DC link operates at 750 V, and the rear feed-through allows bus current up to 120 A. Multi-Ethernet communication with EtherCAT over SoE supports deterministic motion commands, and the control panel is omitted to conserve cabinet depth.
Cooling is provided by an internal blower that moves 129 m3/h of air, and the power stage dissipates 226 W under maximum load. Functional safety is managed by SafeMotion, while the enclosure carries an IP20 rating for protected cabinet environments.
