Product Description:
The XMS2-W0054ANN-02AETT0ECDA-S06RSN2NNNN0NN is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It is a compact inverter module that forms the power stage of a modular motion system, supplying three-phase output to servo or induction motors from a common DC bus. The unit fits into the ctrlX DRIVE mechanical envelope, allowing mounting hardware, accessories, and software tools to be shared across the platform. Within automated packaging, material-handling, or assembly equipment, the drive regulates motor speed and torque in response to bus commands and local control functions.
This module handles a single-axis load and operates strictly as an inverter, so it does not include a rectifier section. The power electronics sit behind the ctrlX DRIVE plus control section, which adds expanded parameter memory and real-time processing. The unit uses internal air cooling, with an integrated fan circulating cabinet air through the heat sink without external ducting. Parameter entry and local diagnostics are available through the front-mounted control panel supplied with the housing. Multi-network access is provided through the Multi-Ethernet interface, while cyclic data exchange with motion controllers is carried over EtherCAT (SoE). Its second-generation hardware increases processing speed and memory to support faster control-loop execution.
A multi-encoder interface supports incremental, EnDat, and SSI feedback devices. A separate digital and analog I/O extension board connects local sensors or interlocks to the drive. Functional safety is implemented through the integrated Safe Torque Off channel, which removes gate-drive energy during an emergency stop request. The housing has an IP20 rating with a 750 V DC bus, providing protection against finger contact with live parts while supporting a bus voltage of up to 750 V DC. The module is supplied without a motor connector set, allowing connection hardware to be selected for the motor type and cable arrangement.
