Product Description:
The XMS2-W0054ANN-01NETT0ECNN-S06RSN1NNNN0NN is a single-axis inverter drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It converts power from the common DC link of a multi-axis system into controlled motor power for motion applications in compact industrial automation cells. The unit belongs to the second generation of ctrlX hardware and uses an integrated ctrlX DRIVE control section. It operates without a local control panel, so setup and control are handled through its fieldbus connection.
The power section supports a continuous motor phase current of 27 A at a 4 kHz pulse-width modulation carrier. It can deliver a peak current of 54 A during dynamic acceleration. Energy is drawn from a nominal DC bus of 750 V, and protective logic disconnects the bus if its voltage exceeds 900 V. The internal link supports 120 A of lateral current, allowing parallel axes to share a common supply. The drive consumes up to 120 W of control power during operation and uses internal air cooling to remove heat from the power section. A multi-encoder interface accepts motor feedback, while Sercos III communication is provided through the Multi-Ethernet backplane. Safe Torque Off is the base safety function and removes motor-producing torque without interrupting power to upstream controls.
The housing is 75 mm wide, 309 mm high, and 196.5 mm deep, allowing high-density installation on an IEC 35 mm mounting rail. Its cooling channel provides airflow of 129 m³/h and is designed to work with forced airflow inside the cabinet. The assembly weighs 4.25 kg, which reduces the mechanical load placed on the mounting rail and cabinet structure. The enclosure provides IP20 protection when the DC bus operates at its nominal voltage, so the drive must be installed inside a suitable cabinet where dust and conductive contaminants are controlled. The unit does not include a motor connector set, allowing the installation to use a cable and connector kit that matches the selected motor series. Its compact format leaves access to the electrical connections while preserving space for neighboring axes and shared power components.
