The XMS2-W0036ANN-02NETT0NNEM-S06RSN2NNNN0NN is an inverter-based drive module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. As a power section within the broader ctrlX DRIVE platform, it converts DC bus power into controlled motor voltage and current while exchanging operating data with higher-level controllers. The module supports compact motion-control installations that require fast control cycles and centralized software configuration. Its narrow modular format allows it to be installed with compatible power supplies, neighboring drive axes, and shared system components inside an electrical cabinet.
The unit controls one mechanical axis, as indicated by its single-axis design. Motion commands and diagnostic data pass through a Multi-Ethernet interface, while real-time communication uses the EtherCAT over SERCOS (SoE) protocol for synchronized data exchange between the drive and PLC. Parameter storage and control processing are handled by the ctrlX DRIVE plus control section. The absence of a front-mounted control panel means configuration and status monitoring are performed through a connected software interface. Heat from the power electronics is removed by internal air cooling, which directs cabinet air across the heat sink.
