It converts a shared DC link into regulated motor current for compact multi-axis machinery. The unit is part of the second-generation ctrlX DRIVE platform used in motion cells that rely on real-time Ethernet communication.
Operating from a bus of DC 750 V, the drive supplies a continuous 4 kHz current of 18 A. Heat is managed through internal air cooling, and the housing carries an IP20 rating for use inside closed control cabinets. Integrated SafeMotion functions provide STO, SS1, and related safety modes without external relays.
