The XMS2-W0030ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S06RSN2NNNN0NN is a single axis inverter in the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for the ctrlX DRIVE control section, it converts a shared DC bus into regulated three phase power for servomotors or induction motors in automated production cells. An EtherCAT SoE enabled Ethernet interface links the unit to higher level PLCs for tightly timed motion control. The networked design supports coordinated axis behavior without relying on a local control panel.
The power stage delivers a continuous output of 12 A at a 4 kHz switching frequency so the inverter can sustain its rated load when cabinet cooling is adequate. For short acceleration periods it can supply up to 30 A at the same frequency, giving the axis added overload capacity. Its internal bus operates around a nominal 750 V, which suits standard DC backbones and supports energy exchange between axes. Thermal loss at rated conditions is 118 W, which helps with enclosure ventilation planning.
An internal blower moves 36 m³/h of air through the heatsink to keep semiconductor temperatures within limits. Overvoltage protection disconnects the bus at 900 V, helping protect components during regenerative events. Functional safety includes Safe Torque Off for a rapid torque free shutdown through certified inputs. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so the drive is intended for a clean control cabinet.
