The XMS2-W0030ANN-01AETT0NNNN-S06RSN2NNNN0NN is a power section supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It operates as an inverter stage for one servo or induction motor and integrates into the ctrlX DRIVE platform through its dedicated control section. The module supplies regulated voltage and current to a machine axis, supporting precise torque, speed, and position control. Its compact format is suitable for motion systems used in packaging, assembly, material handling, and process equipment.
The unit provides a Multi-Ethernet interface for communication with compatible industrial networks. It also supports EtherCAT with SoE for synchronous, cyclic data exchange with a higher-level PLC or motion controller. Its single-axis topology dedicates the power semiconductors and DC-link components to one connected motor. Heat is removed through internal air cooling, with fans moving cabinet air across the heat sink without requiring external ducts. The unit belongs to the second-generation ctrlX DRIVE platform and uses its updated diagnostic indicators, operating controls, and service connections. A local control panel with membrane keys and a small display provides access to jogging functions, error resets, operating values, and basic parameter settings.
Functional safety is provided by a built-in Safe Torque Off channel, which removes gate signals from the power stage when the associated safety input is activated. The unit has an inverter-only configuration for supplying controlled motor power from the DC link. It is delivered with no motor connector set, so the required terminals, coding clips, and motor plug must be selected separately for the installation. The drive has an IP20 enclosure and supports a DC-link voltage of up to 750 V. Its enclosure protects against accidental finger contact with hazardous internal parts but does not provide protection against water. The drive must therefore be installed inside a closed electrical cabinet with suitable clearances, grounding, ventilation, and protection for the available voltage level.
