The XMS2-W0023ANN-02NETM5NNNN-S03RSN2NNNP5NN is an inverter power section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It serves as a single-axis module that converts energy from a shared DC bus into regulated three-phase output for a servo or induction motor in automated machinery. The unit belongs to the ctrlX DRIVE product group and uses second-generation hardware with DRIVE Runtime Productivity functions and SafeMotion Position safety features. Multi-Ethernet connectivity includes an EtherCAT over SERCOS channel for exchanging real-time motion data with higher-level controllers. During continuous operation at a 4 kHz carrier frequency, the power stage delivers 7.7 A of RMS output current. Short demand peaks can reach 23 A, providing additional current for rapid acceleration and transient motor loads. At zero speed, the current limit is 5.5 A, which supports static torque production when the connected motor is holding a load. The internal DC link has a nominal voltage of 750 V, while protective shutdown occurs if the bus voltage reaches 900 V. For cabinet integration, the DC bus connector can carry up to 120 A, supporting power distribution through a multi-axis drive assembly. Total power loss is limited to 85 W, allowing standard enclosure ventilation to remove the generated heat. Internal airflow circulates air through the housing, so the module does not require liquid cooling. The IP20 housing protects against accidental contact with internal components but does not provide protection against water. SafeMotion hardware supplies certified safety functions without the need for additional relays. The unit is supplied without a motor connector set or hardware expansion, so the required motor-side connections must be selected separately for the installation.
