The XMS2-W0023ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S06RSN2NNNN0NN is a drive power section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. Intended for decentralized automation, the unit operates as the power stage that modulates DC link energy for one rotary or linear axis. Within the ctrlX DRIVE platform, it supports fast current control, networked motion coordination, and integrated safety functions for packaging machines, handling gantries, and similar equipment.
As a Single-Axis module, the power electronics and DC bus terminals are sized for one independent motion channel. The communication hardware supports Multi-Ethernet, and cyclic servo commands are transmitted through EtherCAT (SoE) for deterministic position loops while diagnostics share the same cable. Heat is removed by internal air cooling, in which an embedded blower circulates cabinet air across the heat sinks.
The XMS2 belongs to the Second Generation ctrlX hardware and uses newer switching devices with additional memory for control functions. Built-in Safe Torque Off allows motor torque to be removed when a safety circuit opens. Because the device functions only as an Inverter, regenerative energy must be managed by a shared supply or brake resistor. The enclosure is rated IP20, DC 750 V, so it is intended for use inside closed electrical cabinets.
