The unit converts DC bus energy into controlled phase currents while exchanging commands with higher-level controllers over a multi-protocol Ethernet network.
Data traffic is handled through Multi-Ethernet hardware that prioritizes the real-time EtherCAT (SoE) channel. Classified as a Single-Axis unit, the ctrlX DRIVE plus control section draws 79 W from the 24 V logic rail.
