Product Description:
The XMS2-W0010ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S03RSN2NNNN0NN is a single-axis inverter module in the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It belongs to the second-generation ctrlX DRIVE platform and interfaces with automation systems through a Multi-Ethernet hardware layer that supports EtherCAT with Servo Drive Profile over EtherCAT motion control. By converting energy from the shared DC bus into regulated four-quadrant motor power, the unit provides velocity and torque regulation for one servo or induction axis. The inverter does not have a built-in control panel, so its settings are managed through network configuration tools.
At a switching frequency of 4 kHz, the inverter delivers a continuous phase current of 3.3 A, while transient demands can be met with up to 10 A for rapid acceleration or braking. Its internal power electronics operate from a nominal DC bus voltage of 750 V. If the DC link exceeds 900 V, an integrated circuit disconnects the module to protect the connected equipment. Current derating begins when the operating frequency drops below 3 Hz, limiting thermal rise during slow-speed operation. Safe Torque Off hardware disables the output stage while leaving the field power active, preventing the motor from generating torque. A 120 A DC bus connector allows multiple inverter modules to be connected to the same rail.
The narrow enclosure measures only 50 mm wide and 309 mm high, simplifying cabinet layouts where horizontal space or vertical clearance is limited. Internal air cooling moves 36 m³/h through the heat sink to remove heat generated by power losses. Power dissipation is limited to 75 W under nominal operating conditions. The unit has a depth of 196.5 mm and a mass of 2.8 kg, allowing installation without external support brackets. Its IP20 enclosure protects against accidental contact with live parts while permitting the airflow required for cooling. The module is rated for operation from a 750 V DC bus and is supplied without additional motor connector sets.
