Product Description:
The XMS2-W0010ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S03RSN1NNNN0NN is a single-axis inverter drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It serves as the power stage that converts energy from a shared DC bus into regulated three-phase output for servo or induction motors used in automated production lines. The drive handles speed, torque, and positioning tasks. Integrated Multi-Ethernet circuitry allows the unit to interface directly with PLCs through Sercos III or other Ethernet protocols. The second-generation ctrlX DRIVE platform provides the processing resources required for vector control and coordinated motion.
Its power electronics supply a continuous output of 3.3 A at a 4 kHz carrier frequency and permit bursts of up to 10 A during acceleration. The internal DC link is rated for 750 V and is stabilized by 1.7 mF of capacitance, while the control section draws up to 79 W during full operation. An IP20 enclosure protects users from contact with live parts after the unit is properly installed in a control cabinet. The compact housing is 50 mm wide, 309 mm high, and 196.5 mm deep, allowing the drive to fit into narrow cabinet spaces. The unit has no optional hardware modules or control panel. It is also supplied without a motor connector set, so the required connection hardware must be provided separately.
Cooling is handled by an internal air path that moves 36 m³/h across the heat sink. With switching losses limited to 75 W, this airflow helps maintain an acceptable junction temperature during operation. Functional safety is provided by the built-in Safe Torque Off circuit, which allows rapid torque removal through a low-level enable signal. The control electronics require a 24 V ± 20% auxiliary supply, and forced-air cooling starts whenever that supply is present. The inverter has an overall mass of 2.8 kg, which limits the mounting load placed on the cabinet structure.
